I recommend buying the game from Amazon.com -- it's where I usually get most of my books and a fair amount of my software. Amazon has excellent service and will get the product right out to you. Just click the above link and we'll take you there. ![]() There's also an official strategy guide from Prima (click the above link to buy it now from Amazon). I haven't seen the guide yet, so can't offer an opinion, but if you've got money eating a hole in your pocket, go ahead and get it too! :) If you enjoy Might and Magic IX, then you might also enjoy the following: (These are my personal recommendations): The Heroes of Might and Magic series is a strategy game that takes place in the Might and Magic world. Strategy games are different than RPG's -- rather than directing a small party through an adventure, you take on a god-like role of managing an entire civilization of adventurers. If you like strategy games, and you like the rich Might and Magic universe, then this game is for you. Arcanum is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in years. It's take a new and original spin on adventure by blending technology and magic together. Your party can include fighters, mages, and gun-toting technologists. Sierra did a masterful job of crafting this game, with well written dialog and good use of voice actors. The perspective is third person, much like the Baldur's Gate type games.
